NEN is celebrating E-Week, i.e. Entrepreneurship Week from Feb 2nd to 9th and has planned couple of cool activities across the different cities.

"E Week India 2008 is an integral part of NEN's annual activities. "Industry-Academia Interaction"- is the theme for this year's event. E Week will be a seven day event packed with entrepreneurship activities and events run independently and jointly by EWeek partners. NEN campuses will be mobilizing students across the country - targeting more than 1,50,000 students participating in over 250 academic institutes across 30 cities and towns in India."

As far as Bangalore is concerned, I look forward to these events:

  • Feb 8: Cooking with constraints - An unusual entrepreneurship event that attempts to trigger and showcase the Entrepreneurial streak in students when faced with limited resources. Organized by the Home Science Dept, this is an inter-collegiate event. The participants would be asked to prepare 2 dishes and 1 desert using only the limited ingredients provided to them. Invited celebrity judges.
  • Feb 9: Fashion Show to promote potential upcoming designers - This event is being organized by the Fashion and Apparel Design (FAD) Department of MCC. All garments and accessories for the show will be designed and modeled by the students themselves. Invited guests include personalities such as Prasad Bidappa and Manoviraj Khosla.
