I know you will not believe me when I say this, but you really must - my eyeballs DID turn from black to yellow-orange as soon as I entered the campus of Eastern Institute of Integrated Learning in Management. I swear on E-Week, I have never, ever seen such a profusion of posters before. Every little corner of the campus was brightened with E-Week banners, message boards and event charts. With only 250-odd students, the campus was perhaps the smallest I had visited in Kolkata, but what they couldn't do with numbers; they made it up with spirit.

Unlike many other colleges, their plans are not limited to in-campus activities alone. They intend to carry the E-Week pledge to the corporate world in the coming week, and companies like TCS and Wipro have already expressed their eagerness to participate in the celebrations. Not just that, the E-Cell team will make a documentary on the lives of small entrepreneurs of Burra Bazaar who have lost goods worth crores in the recent fire, and also mobilize funds for their rehabilitation.
