Kavita, the girl in question, is the head of E-Cell of Ethiraj College for Women, Chennai, and she and her team members decided to spread the E Week Spirit by putting on a street play. The lively play was an instant eyeball grabber. The storyline unfolded the evolution of the protagonist from a confused student to a frustrated employee to finally, a liberated entrepreneur. The play also touched upon the subject of women entrepreneurs, arguing that women were as successful in running their own business as men.

Their message didn't end with the play. A rally of over 100 students closely followed, with students displaying over 50 promo charts and shouting E Week slogans. I was sorely tempted to join them in the ruckus.
What a lovely start of my day!
