As the world tackles the problems of sustainability, entrepreneurs are emerging as change-makers, driving the momentum towards responsible development.

Entrepreneurship Week India 09, an initiative of the National Entrepreneurship Network (NEN), will celebrate this spirit of eco-preneurship from February 7 to 14 across the country through a range of activities and programs designed to embrace innovation, engage communities and inspire young people to think BIG. Through its theme, “Go Green! The world is our business”, E Week will focus public attention on green business opportunities, environmental challenges, and sustainable development. The week-long campaign hopes to engage not just today’s entrepreneurs, but all those considering entrepreneurship as their future career.

E Week: Going from strength to strength

Last year, E Week India saw over 2,00,000 students conducting 2,500 entrepreneurship based activities across 270 institutes. This year, we are expecting the participation to double in NEN member institutes -- over 5,00,000 students from nearly 440 institutes nation-wide have signed up to celebrate E Week 09. About 3000 events will be organized over the week to recognize and support the drive for innovation, and passion for creating a sustainable future. For a full list of events, visit our Calendar.
