Entrepreneurship Educators Course
The EEC is a rigorous course in designing, developing and teaching comprehensive entrepreneurship programs for undergraduate and graduate students of various backgrounds.

The Course is developed and taught by leading faculty from around India and the world, in partnership with Stanford University and IIM-Bangalore. The Course is designed for participating faculty with a range of experience. For participants who have some experience teaching entrepreneurship, it helps refine and enrich skills and knowledge through exposure to the best methods and content from around the world.

Course Content & Goals
By the end of the course, participants should have gained:
Solid grounding in the concepts and skills of entrepreneurship
Exposure to innovative and effective teaching methods, developed by the world's leading institutes
An opportunity to test and share content, pedagogies, exercises and programs
Guidance on how to design, launch and build a comprehensive and innovative set of entrepreneurship programs on campus
Connection to national and global communities of entrepreneurship educators
Course structure

The course is designed with busy faculty in mind: class attendance is divided into 4 modules totaling 10 days of class time, spread over one year.

EEC Module 1 - In-depth: Advanced Case Method (3 days @ IIMB)
EEC Module 2 - New Venture Creation: Developing a Business Plan (3 days @ IIMB)
EEC Module 3 - Outside the Box: Experiential Learning Methods (3 days @ IIMB)
EEC Module 4 - Way Forward: Entrepreneurship Program Acceleration (Regional)

Course Institutional Partners

Course Faculty

Workshops are taught by leading entrepreneurship faculty from India and around the world, including faculty from Stanford University, Columbia University, Thammasat University in Bangkok, London Business School and IIM-Bangalore. > Read bios of EEC Faculty

Certification

Successful graduates of the course receive certification from NEN-Stanford Technology Ventures Program-NSRCEL at IIM B recognizing them as accomplished entrepreneurship educators.

Once faculty complete the certification requirements, they may submit their materials and request review.

Selection

All faculty members of NEN member institutes are eligible for the Course. Seating at the international workshops is limited to one faculty member per institute, with preference given to those institutes that have not yet sent faculty to the Course.

Fees

The cost of the Course is Rs. 60,000 per participant. However, full scholarships are available from the Wadhwani Foundation for eligible participants. The scholarships do not cover the costs of travel and lodging.

NEN Faculty Development Course Application Form

To apply for the Entrepreneurship Educators Course (EEC), please download the application form here, and mail it to the NEN office (address below). Once we receive your application, NEN will match you with either the EEC or the Foundation course, based on your teaching background, entrepreneurship knowledge, goals and also recommendation from the NEN Consultant. We will send you an e-mail informing about the course details for which you will be selected within 10 days of the receipt of your application.

Wadhwani Foundation Scholarship form

In order to make it possible for faculty members to participate in the NEN Faculty Development Courses in entrepreneurship education, the Wadhwani Foundation provides full scholarships to eligible participants. To apply for the scholarship, please download the WF scholarship form here, and mail it to the NEN office (address below) along with the Course application Form
