Venkata  |   MJCET  |   Hyderabad  |  Feb 07, 2008 8:37
Entrepreneurship Week India was one big event for E Cell MJCET. Barely a month old, E Week 2008 was going to be the acid test of our calibre and entrepeurial spirit. We kicked it off with acute preparation on four fronts. Marketing, Publicity, Logistics & Content. The 4 major departments of the organized organization which would lead us to acvieve our objectives. E Conference was kicked off by Mr. Santanu Paul, country head of Virtusa & Mr. Khan Lateef Lhan, our society chairman renowned entrepreneur & media baron. It was attended by Mr. J A Chowdary, Mr. Anand Morzaria, Mr. Anshuman Dimiri, Mr. W Amarnath. Mrs. Chandravathi among others. These people collectively represent the various faces of a dynamic Hyderabad almost wholesomely. Various subjects were discussed such as Entrepreneurial Teams, difference between a manager and an entrepreneur and the required balance between the managers and entrepreneurs in this country, Project reports, balance sheets, business plans, failures and successes for the very many who attended the sessions. A power lunch was organized for the students to network with the dignitaries, sponsors to network with the dignitaries, the delegeates to network among themselves, the special invitees to network among themselves and with the dignitaries. The event was a revelation, presented a different perspective for many in the audiance. The plain facts, the truths, the reality was very different from what is usually imagined and had a lasting impression on the people.

GHD Precious

GHD Precious Gift Set

GHD Straighteners

My old GHD Precious Gift Set broke and I couldn't afford a pair of GHD Precious 's at that time so on the recommendation of a friend I tried these which were on the shelf at Woolworths. At £30 they were a lot cheaper than GHD Precious's or other salon stylers.

My hair is mid length and slightly wavy.Due to the texture it's not easy to straighten and I need the higher heat settings to get a successful result. At that time of purchase these GHD Precious Gift Set were some of the hottest in the price range, the majority of the alternatives were around the 180-200 degrees maximum temperature.

At full temperature these make even bone dry hair steam! They straighten hair quickly but it does appear flat afterwards.I also found that I got kinks in my hair from the straight sides of the plates.I also found that my hair became a little flyaway afterwards, even when using serum. They are recommended for use on dry hair.So I am very satisfied with the GHD Straighteners.
